FAQ
Can I book a session with Fedora from anywhere?
Yes! Fedora provides her services remotely and worldwide through GenderGP. You can easily book your appointment HERE. The booking system allows you to schedule any of her sessions, regardless of where you live. This service is particularly convenient for those in the UK and EU.
Do I need to be a member of GenderGP to book a session with you? Are there additional fees for a Surgery Referral or Formal Diagnosis beyond the session fee?
No, a membership with GenderGP is not required to book a session with me. While the booking system is facilitated through GenderGP, there are no additional fees for services such as Surgery Referrals or Formal Diagnosis beyond the standard session fee. This ensures you can access only the services you need, directly and at your convenience.
I have general questions and/or would like to talk to Fedora about my journey so far, future goals, or personal matters. Which session should I book?
The “Chat with Fedora” session was designed as a general, open-ended meeting to provide you with a space to discuss any issues, concerns, or future plans for your journey. Feel free to book this session, and let me know how I can best assist you.
About Brazilian Psychology Credentials
Fedora is a registered clinical psychologist in Brazil, with the registration number CRP 06/180170. Brazil is one of the largest democracies and economies globally, with solid diplomatic ties to most countries, including the UK and EU. The country is also known for its highly skilled professionals, who offer services worldwide.
To become a registered clinical psychologist in Brazil, one must complete a mandatory 5-year degree at a university, encompassing both theoretical and practical training, followed by successful certification. Only then can one apply to the Federal Council of Psychology and obtain a registration number necessary for clinical practice. This number legally authorises the provision of psychological services, under Brazil’s laws and code of ethics.
Remote Services
Brazil’s Federal Council of Psychology is one of the largest and most progressive, with a strong commitment to advocating for transgender and gender-diverse rights and access to healthcare.
As a registered clinical psychologist, the Council regulates the authorisation for its members to provide remote services, including internationally. With this authorisation, Fedora is legally permitted to offer her services globally, including Formal Diagnoses and Surgery Referral Letters.
You can verify her credentials by visiting this link and entering her name.
Brazil is also renowned for its exceptional plastic surgeons, including specialists in gender-affirming procedures.
What about WPATH?
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) is the leading global association for transgender health. By participating in its ongoing courses, being a member, and engaging with this community, Fedora stays updated with the highest global standards for transgender care. You can verify her membership HERE.
What about her sessions?
When you book a session with Fedora, she will carefully assess your needs and, together, determine the best course of action. If a Formal Diagnosis or Surgery Referral Letter is required, she typically provides it via email within 24 hours. You will have direct contact with her to address any concerns or needs regarding the letter.
How do the letters look?
Each letter begins with a clear outline of Fedora’s professional background, including verifiable sources to confirm her credentials—essential for a legal document. The letter details your personal journey, expectations, and how you meet the criteria for your goals, where applicable. It is tailored to support you in achieving your objectives. Fedora electronically signs the letter using an official Brazilian government tool, ensuring its legal verifiability.
What about the letters’ acceptance and legal aspects?
It is important to clarify that Fedora is a properly registered clinical psychologist in Brazil, with the necessary credentials and authorisations to provide her services remotely and worldwide, all of which are verifiable. Possessing one of her e-signed letters should facilitate access to private services, such as gender-affirming surgeries or assistance at private clinics. Transgender care is a rapidly evolving global healthcare field, and working with qualified professionals from various backgrounds contributes positively to this growth.
